Edward Maene was associated with the Arts and Crafts movement, particularly with Will Price and Rose Valley furniture.  We have Rose Valley style furniture handed down to us from Edward Maene and a metal name stamp (E.Maene) from Rose Valley. Rose Valley’s webpage mentions that some Rose Valley furniture could have been made at Edward Maene’s Philadelphia workshops (probably before the Rose Valley workshop got up and running).
